I came to Dallas in 1984, and opened my first restaurant in 1989 called Chaplin's, which was a continental wood grill rated by D Magazine as #6 best in Dallas. I sold Chaplin's in 1992 and opened a casual seafood concept called Daddy Jack's Lobster & Chowder House in February of 1993. We've been rated as the best seafood restaurant in Dallas since 1993 with ratings from Zagat, Dallas Morning News, and Dallas Observer. We strive to serve the best seafood from coast to coast.

Dear Seafood Lover,
As a boy, I spent my summers helping my grandmother prepare the lobsters and other seafood that we caught off the family's homeplace on Spectacle Island, Nova Scotia. Today, I strive to bring that early love of the sea to my friends here in Dallas.
